Gerd Nieuwejaar
Gerd was born on the West Coast of Norway and
moved with her parents to Seattle. They felt at
home in the natural and rugged beauty of the Pacific
Northwest, it's proximity to the sea and temperate
climate.
In 1992 Gerd and Rolf, on their first Orcas
Island visit decided to make this beautiful Island their
home. They designed and built their first home on
Orcas in 1996 and moved to Island full time. They
have recently designed and built a beautiful second home
on Orcas Island.
Gerd

building of 3 homes from initial concept, design and
acquisition through final finish. It is her goal
to assist others to make the process of buying or
selling their home or land on the Islands a smooth and
satisfying transition.
Joey Mount
Joey is no stranger to Orcas
Island. Her great-grandparents homesteaded a fruit farm
in the historic Crow Valley, where
her family still resides. Joey left Orcas after
graduating from High School, then returned to
start a family. They relocated to
Central Oregon, where they made a lifestyle of
purchasing land, building, and landscaping custom
homes.
Joey recently returned to her island
roots. Her knowledge of the island and the building
process affords her valuable insight into the entire
real estate endeavor. She is pleased to be back among
friends and family in our unique
community.
Anna Roseberry
Anna Roseberry
has a very unique connection to Orcas Island as she grew
up enjoying the natural beauty and community of the

& Literature and
Sociology.
After graduation
she returned to Orcas Island to enjoy sailing, family
and teaching entry level
Spanish to all ages. Subsequently she began working in
local real estate offices and in January of 2007
received her real estate license. She joins our office
